Responsibilities:

  • The Supervisor, Distribution Requirements Planner (DRP) has overall accountability for ensuring the planned Stock transport Order (STO) volume is executed each month for the sending region / area he is responsible for.
  • Leading a team of DRP’s, for import and export materials.
  • The DRP works cross functionally to accomplish this – primarily with Order to Cash (OTC) and within S&OP.  Key contacts in OTC are the sending region Export/Outbound Coordinators, Logistics Ops, and Order Coordinator (OC).
  • Key contacts within S&OP are the sending region Production Schedulers and Supply Planners and the receiving region order creator.
  • The DRP is the key contact for Logistics Ops when the BK update process results in the loss of fully confirmed quantity (Material availability) or any other block on the STO.
