Celanese - is seeking a dynamic and analytical Supply Chain Production Scheduler that executes scheduling routines to support and meet the company strategy, company performance objectives and customer expectations, in addition to adherence to global processes and business rules. This position will be responsible for plans and establish finite production schedules to ensure product availability and achieve target business line service levels. Monitors materials inventories , tracks progress of production, daily meetings with production team, weekly meetings with planners to ensure alignment, run root cause analysis when needed, issue and respond to alerts, and close communication with customer service, manufacturing, and raw material teams.
Responsibilities:
- Convert the weekly level master production plan into daily production schedule and optimize the production sequence to meet defined objectives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize the schedule, handle execution level changes, and align on future maintenance plan / calendars and specific manufacturing requirements.
- Conduct scenario management based on exceptions and constraint violations.
- Collaborate with planning to mitigate any unplanned plant interruptions or to handle rush supply requests.
- Analyze scheduling metrics, conduct root cause analysis and report schedule performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Supply Planner/Master Production Scheduler, Warehouse/Logistics teams, Customer Service and Plant Operations Management) to mitigate any supply related risks.
- Maintain scheduling related master data, both in SAP and Advanced Planning System (Blue Yonder) (e.g., SKU-machine mappings, changeover matrices, run rates, minimum run sizes). Manage scheduling related master data as per set governance.
- Support improvements to local/global scheduling related projects or Blue Yonder tool improvements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 4-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing operations and/or supply chain planning role.
- 1-2 years of Finite Scheduling experience (E.g.: Combination of raw material, deployment from plant to warehouse (finished goods), and execution).
- Experience with SAP MRP scheduling preferred.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Experience w/ advanced planning / scheduling solutions preferred (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder).
- Experience in a chemical compounding environment preferred.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills required.
