Technician, Maintenance, Central Maintenance Expert 

  • Responsible for maintaining plant equipment and site facilities correctly, timely, and in a safe manner.
  • Executing preventive and corrective work orders to completion.
  • Provide technical expertise on small projects and support of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Global Reliability System (GRS) initiatives.
  • Supporting Operations in troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment malfunctions and abnormalities (supporting Manufacturing).

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform maintenance work safely with strict adherence to procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and company policy.  Ownership of personal safety and safety of co-workers.
  • Obtain Craft qualification within specified time progression and maintain all craft training requirements.
  • Fulfill maintenance custody role in preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain plant equipment and site facilities to ensure quality products are manufactured to support our quality policy. 
  • Troubleshoot and find resolutions for process and equipment issues in a multi-craft environment (i.e. pumps, blowers, hydraulics, electrical).
  • Maintain and organize all shop areas in accordance with 5s workplace standards.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated relevant work experience is preferred in maintenance, electrical or instrumentation or 2 year relevant degree or certification.
  • Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, and drug screening.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing team member with a can do attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-craft environment.
  • Able to work independent of direct supervision.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and be safety minded.
  • Able to follow procedures and processes.
  • Able to learn various troubleshooting techniques..
  • Willing and able to work in inclement weather, climb structures and perform work at heights.  
  • Willing and able to work on a (10 hour) shifts with potential overtime, weekends, holidays and assume on-call duty periodically.
